Alia Rosenstock

Managing Lawyer

As Managing Legal Director, Alia leads a full-scope immigration practice focused on Canadian work permits and entry visas, Labour Market Impact Assessments, inadmissibility applications, and permanent residence expressions of interest and filings. With deep experience in complex matters, she provides strategic, cost-effective guidance to employers and foreign nationals on eligibility, regulatory compliance, and risk management, including voluntary and mandatory reporting, as well as employer compliance audits and inspections.

Prior to joining Mobility Law, Alia worked with a leading global immigration firm, supporting multinational and Fortune 500 corporations and individual clients with their Canadian immigration needs across the energy, finance, infrastructure, manufacturing, media, natural resources, technology and transportation sectors. As a former member of Legal Aid Ontario’s Refugee and Domestic Violence panels, Alia has also represented clients in a wide array of challenging matters involving family reunification, inadmissibility, domestic violence, and human trafficking. Her advocacy has taken her before every division of the Immigration and Refugee Board as well as the Federal Court.

Before returning to private practice in 2017, Alia was the Director, Opera Division for Dean Artists Management and In-House Counsel for Dean Artists Management and Talent House, Inc., in Toronto, Canada.
