Peter Rekai BA, LL.B is a Barrister and Solicitor and is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Immigration Law. Over the past twenty years Peter has represented major employers, expanding new businesses and skilled individuals in dealing with Canadian immigration issues. He has a particular expertise in assisting trade and industry associations address comprehensive foreign worker strategies with the federal government.

Peter is a frequent lecturer at Immigration practice and international policy conferences and a regular op-ed contributor to major newspapers in Canada and the United States. He recently authored a study on Canadian and US immigration issues for the noted Canadian policy think-tank the CD HOWE Institute as part of its series on North American Relations (The Border Papers). He has served in many capacities on the Immigration and Citizenship section of the Ontario Bar Association Immigration Section and is a member of the Immigration section of the International Bar Association.
