Gary L. Segal BA, JD is a Barrister & Solicitor and is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Immigration Law.

Gary is the Founder and the First Chairperson of The Association of Immigrant Lawyers, subsequently, the Immigration Section of the Canadian Bar Association and a member of the Canadian chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association in the United States. Gary was employed by Manpower and Immigration in the past and has had an extensive Immigration and Citizenship law practice for over 40 years.

Gary has lectured at the University of San Diego, California, Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, Leeds University, England and at many Canadian and U.S. Immigration funtions. He is the past Director of the Advanced Immigration Law Programme of the Canadian Bar Association and was the author of the first 10 editions of Immigrating to Canada. He has been a contributing editor to the Immigration Law and Procedure Reporter published in the United States by Matthew Bender.
